8 structures, all linked to the Salève, offer 7 educational days to discover the Salève.

Green light for biological corridors.

A magnificent nature path !
Discover alone or with your family, the different types of animals, as well as the biological corridors and the obstacles that can be found along them.

You also have the chance to do two wonderfull, leisurely and informative walks, one on the flat and one in the mountains (accessible by the cable car of course!). Both routes are marked by this small diagram. _

Throughout your walk you will find interpretation panels (there are a total of 12), written by children from local schools who have participated in this project under the guidance of their teachers and nature guides from the different associations, stakeholders in this project.

This project has been created within the framework of a cross-border awareness of “Corridors Biologiques” co-financed by the Swiss Confederation, the Conseil General of Haute-Savoie, a private foundation, the Republic and the Canton of Geneva, the European Union – European Regional Development Fund.

End of year outing

The month of June is on the horizon and the end of school year outing too, so come to the Salève Telepherique: less than 5 minutes in the cabin and arrive at the top where a huge play and learning area is waiting for you!

Go alone or accompanied by a guide from the Maison du Salève or a Mountain Leader from the "Bureau de la Montagne du Salève".

Practical information

  Each telepherique cabin takes 60 children.
  The ascent takes less than 5 minutes
  The altitude at the summit is 1097m precisely, so you will be in the mountains, so make sure your pupils are suitably equipped ( good walking shoes, warm clothes, sunglasses, drinks bottle...)

Group rates apply for groups of 10 or more

Free for those who accompany :
 For children aged between 3 and 5 yrs old inclusive : 2 leaders go free with 10 children
  For children aged between 6 and 17 yrs old inclusive : 1 leader goes free with 10 children

Additional leaders First additional leader – the children’s price applies Other additional leaders – 50% of the normal adult rate.
