From the departure at the Pas de l’Echelle, the cable due Salève takes you to an altitude of 1100m in less than 5 minutes. At the summit of cliffs, you will discover an exceptional panoramic view of Geneva and its fountain, lake Geneva, the Alps and Mont Blanc.

Numerous activities are possible not far from the cable car

Priority to nature

   Visit of the botanical trail accessible from the cable car, to admire a great variety of flowers and shrubs (½ hour, easy walking).
   Discover the fauna and flora
   Alpine Pastures Walk with a view of Mont Blanc (150km of marked and maintained trails, from a small stroll to challenging paths).
   Night-time walk in the countryside
   Introduction to astronomy under the starry sky, to learn to recognise the constellations and listen to the legends.

   Visit of the Maison du Salève , exhibition area, exploration and awareness of the protection of the Salève.
   Discover the religious heritage of the Salève, following the trails of the Chartreuse monks and the Compostelle path.

Have Something to Eat

At the top of the cable car, the restaurant Le Panoramique welcomes groups and organises drinks, cocktails, lunches or dinners, evenings. It can accept groups up to 400 people.

Organise Annual Meetings or Conferences _ Horizon has a 100m² room with a capacity of 60 people , lecture style or 40 people, meeting style.

How to have a successful group outing

 Make up your own circuit or
 Let yourself be guided by the professionals: the Bureau de la Montagne du Salèveand the maison du Salève can make available a team of mountain leaders, instructors and guides either to advise you or to accompany your group.
